[Riona emerges from her waiting perch, offering Cole a small smile.]

I should just get to the point: have you heard of a demon in the fleet? A man named Tyrion told me about it. It enters into people's dreams, like they do in Thedas. And it... apparently takes the shape of a golden triangle.

[He pauses blinks and shakes his head.]

No. I know Tyrion, he never mentioned it to me.

A golden... triangle? That's not usual. Unless it was... Order? Logic? They aren't demons.

A triangle person, that's how he described it. He said this thing will wander through dreams. He offers you whatever you want, whatever you dream of... in return for favors. [Which sounds a lot like how demons try to possess mages in Thedas.] What his goal is, I don't know, but he sounds like a demon. And certainly someone to be wary of.

That... a demon wouldn't ask for a favour. I'm not really sure what a favour is. Spirits want you to do things. Be kind. Be angry. Stay with them.

But it does sound dangerous.

If we had Jove, she could open a Rift and we could go look. But we don't have Jove. Or any other Inquisitor.

The word "Inquisitor" summons forth a jolt of anger and pain. She associates it with Adalwolfe and Alistair's death in his Thedas, with his Inquisitor's choice.

She shoves it back; it has no place here.]

I know nothing of Rifts or what an Inquisitor can do [Besides make horrendous choices] but... this thing may not be a demon from our world. It may have a nature completely different than what we know of.

It probably is. It doesn't sound like any spirit I know, or that Solas mentioned. I can't touch the Fade, though. I don't know if I can help. I don't sleep.

It's all right. I only wanted to see if you knew about it, and if not, to warn you and make you aware. If you managed to get close enough to it, could you be able to tell what manner of demon it is?

Maybe.

If it's a spirit, then probably. We'll know each other. But if it's a demon in a different sense.... Like Crowley. He says he's a demon, but he doesn't feel like one to me. He's too much like a mortal.

Fair enough. All the same, I'll give warning to any mages I know of here. Just be careful, Cole, okay?

It's okay. Crowley's not really a demon. He says he is, but the worst thing he does is menace pot plants into growing.
